On the Board

Faithful followers of our blog have no doubt noticed that Connor's team, the Dragons, had not won a game this year. Until tonight that is. The Dragons made a furious comeback from being down 13-4 and held on to earn a 19-18 win. The game came down to the final possession. With the other team trailing they were allowed to press. Since Connor's team had never been within 15 points at the end of a game, we didn't know this. We got a timeout and executed a play to get the ball to the far end of the court. The opposing team ended up with a long shot at the buzzer that fell short.
Connor had a good game with 4 points. He still has a hard time finding passing lanes to his teammates since they don't really move to get open. He plays with good energy and aggressiveness and the other parent at the scorers table tonight commented about how well #2 played, so I was proud of that. We still have a few games left this year so hopefully this isn't the last win.
